The Manufacturing Manager oversees the Minneapolis Assembly, Test/Checkout, Film Lab and Sensor lab operations and ensures that MOCON-Mpls. manufacturing operations and quality objectives are met. This is done through leading the teams responsible for assembling and/or testing of MOCON products and services and coordinating the execution of manufacturing schedules based on customer requirements and company-set goals.
This position is responsible for order intake, revenue, gross margin and market development activities in North America and Latin America and at the same time make sure that department cost stays within designated budgets. Specifically, at this point, position is responsible for managing several teams of Account Managers and Distributor Managers for sales of permeation products (PPS), package testing products (PTPS), consulting, lab testing, aftermarket sales (spare parts, PMAs, service) and other related services in North America and Latin America.
The Technical Sales Specialist role will support the Sales Team and Regional Customers by providing technical expertise, training and application knowledge.
Provide technical support for MOCON customers through training, repair, PM maintenance and/or startup assistance of new and existing instruments. When in-house perform repairs and customer support in line with MOCON required performance standards.
This full-time position has an emphasis on coordinating the logistics of quality initiatives.
