Role Summary:

Responsible for the delivery of customer satisfaction through efficient quoting, order handling, and order follow-up with customers via various communication channels.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide customer service excellence through direct contact with customers and distributors via phone and email.
  • Communicate pricing, availability and lead time information for goods and services to customers.
  • Prepare pricing quotes in cooperation with the Sales team as needed.
  • Review new orders for completion.  This includes validating billing and shipping information, payment terms, part number accuracy, etc. 
  • Enter orders accurately and provide order follow-up to support the Market Segments. 
  • Support continuous improvement of processes affecting ordering, communication of status and delivery of goods and services.  Work with upstream and downstream teams to adopt improvements.
  • Provide input to group metrics as required, including order accuracy, processing turn times, etc.
  • Backup front desk support as required.
  • Perform other duties as required by the manager.
Education and Experience:
  • 2-5 years of applicable customer service and/or sales experience.
  • High school diploma required.  Technical school or college preferred.
  • Basic knowledge of order entry and general familiarity with contracts and commercial processes.

Travel:
