The OX-TRAN Model 2/61 is MOCON’s most popular permeation test systems for measuring oxygen transmission rates of barrier films and packages. The OX-TRAN 2/61 detects and measures small amounts of oxygen as it passes through barrier materials such as plastics and composites used in all forms of packaging. It’s an ideal system for production and QC/QA testing applications. This system incorporates the latest in high-sensitivity sensor design and features 6 test cells for flexibility and speed. It includes precise RH & temperature measurement and control, user selectable sensitivity, package testing capabilities and N.I.S.T. (National Institute of Standard and Technology) traceable calibration films.
Increase throughput of oxygen testing for rigid packages. The new RACK-6 conditioning system has been developed for use with the OX-TRAN Model 2/61. The RACK-6 measures oxygen transmission rates for as many as six rigid or flexible packages simultaneously.
The system also offers users a separate six-cell conditioning unit which enables packages to be brought to equilibrium offline before moving them to the OX-TRAN Model 2/61 for final test results. Depending on the number of RACK-6 systems deployed, cost effective throughput of samples can be virtually unlimited.
Using Container Transfer Units (CTU) individual packages can be moved from the conditioning Rack to the Testing Rack without loss of equilibrium
